Tim’s journey through the catering industry has been one of dedication, skill, and a relentless pursuit of culinary excellence. Beginning his career as a student chef at The Yarrow, Tim quickly demonstrated his passion for food and commitment to mastering the craft. Through hard work and determination, he progressed through the ranks, from Commis Chef to Chef de Partie and Junior Sous Chef, before taking on the role of Head Chef at Reign Bar and Lounge in Broadstairs. There, he honed his creativity and leadership, developing innovative menus and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Tim’s passion for The Yarrow never faded, and he returned with a wealth of experience and fresh inspiration. Now as Head Chef, he leads a talented kitchen team dedicated to creating dishes that both impress and inspire.

Working closely alongside him is Sous Chef Ellie, another proud graduate of The Yarrow. Having trained within the same kitchens where she now helps lead, Ellie brings both skill and enthusiasm to every plate. Together, Tim and Ellie are passionate about nurturing the next generation of chefs, ensuring The Yarrow remains a place of creativity, excellence, and unforgettable dining.

Our menu's have been delicately designed using seasonal, locally produced ingredients which have been carefully crafted into delicious dishes to tantalise your taste buds!

Our Head Chef and his team change our menu's seasonally in order to ensure our guests and visitors benefit from the amazing local produce that is in the current season during their visit to us.

At The Yarrow Hotel, guests can indulge in one of our traditional afternoon teas, with a selection of savoury snacks, alongside a range of mouth-watering scones and homemade cakes.

Served from 2.30pm until 5pm, afternoon tea can be taken in either our wonderfully warm solarium, or snug lounge where you'll be surrounded by history and character allowing you to enjoy every moment of the experience.

All our afternoon tea delights are freshly made by our aspiring pastry chefs working under the watchful eye of Head Chef Louis Hudson.
